It would seem that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will feature not only more mature characters and a far darker plot, but a more sophisticated school scarf as well. The new scarf design is less bold but just as distinctive as the color-block scarves we've all come to love - and the trapped bar design is perfect for covertly declaring your house loyalty in situations where bright stripes might be too identifiable.

Our trapped bar scarves feature the same careful craftsmanship as the old style, and are handknit to order in your choice of wool blend or pure wool yarn. They are double-thick, so there's no distracting wrong side, and are long and wide enough to take the chill off any winter (or movie theatre!).

We offer all house colors (including both Ravenclaw renditions) in two fibers - 25% wool/75% acrylic and 100% wool. (Contact us if you are interested in wool-free alternatives.) The wool/acrylic is machine-washable, while wool scarves require hand washing. The finished size varies slightly with fiber but averages 8" wide and 85" long, with 2" of fringe at each end. (We can also customize sizing for younger witches and wizards; contact us via email for details.) We can even embroider up to three initials - yours, or your favorite character's - at one end of your scarf. (Click here to find out if your character of choice has been given a middle name!)

After 3.5 years of scarf knitting, we at atypically.knit have decided to permanently discontinue our readymade scarves in order to better focus on our handknitting patterns. All pending orders will still be completed.

You can cancel any time up until we've started knitting your scarf for a full refund; a 10% restocking fee may be deducted from your refund if you cancel more than 30 days after your initial order.
